Terms of Service
These terms cover use of Calendario, a personal scheduling assistant that connects to a Google Calendar. By connecting a Google Account and using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not connect an account.
Who this is for
Calendario is a single-account deployment, not an open service. Only the operator's own Google account may connect; any other sign-in is refused and the access granted is revoked immediately, with nothing stored.
What the service does
Calendario lets you ask about your schedule in plain language and, on your instruction, create, reschedule, or cancel calendar events. Events it creates are placed in a separate calendar named Calendario and marked as created by the app. It will only modify or delete events it created itself; the rest of your calendar is left alone. The permissions it requests are scoped so that Google enforces this, not just the app's own code — see the Privacy Policy for the specifics.
Your Google Account
Using Calendario requires authorising it through Google's own consent screen. You keep control of that authorisation and can withdraw it at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You are responsible for the security of your Google Account. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Calendario to access a calendar or account you are not authorised to use;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
- use the service for anything unlawful, or in breach of Google's terms.
Automated interpretation of your requests
Calendario uses a language model to interpret what you type. Interpretation is imperfect: it can misread a date, a time, or which event you meant. Please check that the result is what you intended, particularly before relying on a scheduled event or after asking for something to be deleted. Do not use Calendario as the sole record of appointments where being wrong would cause you harm.
Availability
Calendario is an independent personal project offered free of charge. There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment, and no service level agreement. It may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. No warranty is given that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free, or that its interpretation of your requests will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Calendario is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, missed appointments, or lost opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Termination
You may stop using Calendario at any time by revoking its access to your Google Account. Access may also be suspended or withdrawn if these terms are breached or if the project is discontinued.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated, and the date at the top of this page will change when they are. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
